The Institute of Business Diplomacy and Financial Management (IBDFM) is a Professional Body and a not-for-profit Business/Financial Management Training and Research Institution established under the Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 1990 with the approval of the Federal Ministry of Education, the consent of the Attorney General of the Federation and currently pursuing the status of CHARTERED.
The Institute has a Governing Council which organizes and provides programmes and guidelines for the effective administration of the Institute and plays a key role in defining IBDFM’s overall strategy.
The present Governing Council which comprises a number of distinguished academicians, professionals, consultants, business leaders, lawyers, philanthropists and community leaders, has Professor Ayuba A. Aminu, a Professor of Business Management at the University of Maiduguri and the First Indigenous Professor of Business Management in the North East Region of Nigeria as the President and Chairman of Council.
The Institute is saddled with the responsibility to develop Professionals in Business Diplomacy and Financial Management through an all-around training, giving them a sound understanding of the legal, fiscal, economic, monetary, banking and commercial aspects of business diplomacy, international business and financial management to support optimal professional performance.
